The Role

As a Surveillance Operator, your exceptional observation skills and attention to detail will see you record, investigate, and report concerns relating to casino revenue, patron and employee safety, illegal/undesirable activities, and the integrity of gaming operations.  You are able to demonstrate an understanding of Federal and State legislation relating to Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation and Casino regulations to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

About You

  • Current QLD Casino Employee or Key Employee Licence, or the ability to obtain.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an environment that routinely requires extended spans of dedicated concentration.
  • Current or previous Table Games and/or Gaming Surveillance experience.
  • Proficient in mathematical, analytical and computer skills, including Microsoft suite.
  • Knowledge of the Queensland Casino Control Act, Casino procedures and the use of CCTV Operating Systems is highly regarded.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Experience in dispute resolution with the ability to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders as required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in isolated conditions.
  • A flexible work approach and mature outlook towards work and colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work across a 24-hour roster that routinely includes 12-hour shifts including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
